Get Ready for Online Rape Kit Training
Coming in 2008, this website will be host to a library of training videos on using the Montana Rape Kit. The program is geared toward Montana emergency department nurses, but anyone involved in sexual assault response in Montana can participate. The videos are divided into three main topics and indexed by subject. You can watch all the videos and get a certificate of completion or just go to the topics you need - when you need them. Each video will take from 5 to 15 minutes to watch.
For security reasons, the video library will be password protected. Anyone wanting access to the library must register in advance and be assigned a password. Registration for this course is limited to individuals affiliated with sexual assault response organizations operating in Montana. Each participating organization will receive a training rape kit to use as a learning tool while taking the course.
Although we are "under construction" at this time, registration has begun. Please use the link below to register for the course. Information provided on the registration form will be used solely for communicating with the registrant about the course.
